This morning, as I sat down at my computer to blog, a magazine that was on the corner of my desk caught my eye. I couldn't help but thumb through it. (The caption on the cover read, "For the Love of Green" and had a very happy woman laying on the grass... who wouldn't be attracted to that amount of relaxation?) After I skimmed the article that had so captivated my attention, I flipped to the back where there are generally some coupons. I love coupons! In this economy, how could you not? And that is where I received my inspiration for this blog today.

In the back of that small magazine, where the coupons are abundant, it dawned on me. There are hundreds of companies that advertise to home owners that may be in need of their services.
Some of the services include: Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, Kitchen Renovation, Counter top Replacement, Exterior Home Improvement, Electrical Specialists, Garage Door Installation, Heating & Cooling Services, Landscaping & Lawn Services, Moving & Storage, Interior & Exterior Painters, Pest Control, Plumbing Specialists, Remodeling Specialists, Roofing Companies, Tree Removal Services, Fire & Water Damage Restoration, Deck & Patio Construction, & Fencing.
This particular magazine had 53 pages (yes, fifty three!) full of coupons and advertisements for all of the above mentioned services. How in the world would anyone know how to choose which company would be best for them? It would almost be just as efficient to open the magazine and blindly point to the first page you come to. That's just crazy!

SO, in behalf of all of you deserving home owners, I will be putting together a compilation of companies for each of those services that I know has a good reputation. Whether I have used them personally, or know someone who has, they will only be the best of the best. I'm hoping that in the world of advertisements, I can help you choose the right company for whatever job you may need.
If you recently completed a project, and were impressed (OR terribly dissatisfied) with the company that you used leave me a quick note. The more suggestions I get, the better the list will be.
